OnlineFunctions and Gatherings is a bespoke wedding planning company focused on making the wedding planning journey stress-free and fun. We focus on the queer experience because acceptance doesn't cut it–our love deserves to be celebrated! In a hyper-normative industry, we want to break the mold and have a blast doing it. Born and raised in the Seattle area, I now live in a cute lil house in the 'burbs with my husband and our cat-child Herman. “Work” comes in many shapes and sizes but mostly event planning these days. Everything from corporate team building to non-profit fundraisers to hella gay weddings here at Functions and Gatherings. When I’m not at an event behind the clip board, I can be found belting 90s Lady Country in the car, reading as many books as I can with magic and gay kissing, and serving some kind of loud gender bending fashion ensemble.

Just engaged and trying to figure out what’s next? Are you a wedding vendor looking to become more inclusive? A consultation gets you access to Jake's brain, helping you navigate any wedding or event planning challenges with ease and creativity. Most consultations are conducted virtually.
Wedding Management
Jake goes far beyond typical "day-of" coordination while managing your wedding. To ensure everything runs smoothly, Jake starts working with couples well in advance. This includes meetings to discuss details, creating a custom timeline, conducting a venue walkthrough, and coordinating the rehearsal. Jake believes that managing a wedding properly takes more than just showing up on the big day—it requires thorough preparation to make sure every moment is seamless.
