Interpretation & Captioning
OnlineMosaic provides sign language interpretation and captioning for Deaf and hearing communities. We provide consistent, high-quality interpreters and captioners that reflect client needs. We sponsor events that promote community and create safe spaces for novice interpreters to grow. Utilizing current research, and aiming to increase diverse representation in our field, we host an internship to bridge the gap from interpreter education to certification. Emily Haynes McGee strives to be a connector. A lover of people and stories, she finds joy in building bridges between them. She has been an ASL interpreter since 2010, earning her B.S. in Signed Language Interpreting from the University of New Mexico. After moving to Richmond, Virginia in 2012, she began managing a small team of interpreters for a university; that team has since grown into Mosaic Interpreting Services. When not interpreting, Emily enjoys traveling, gardening, rock climbing, or flying trapeze.

Mosaic offers presentations in both English and American Sign Language, tailored to your audience. They have presented to business incubators, university linguistics classes, cohort graduations, corporate lunch and learns, high school groups, and elementary school career days. They love engaging with communities!
