Ro's mission is to help community change-makers bring people together to turn vision into action through thoughtful design and illustration. She works with businesses that put purpose and community first, from impact-driven nonprofits to musicians, art venues, sports teams, and beyond. Ro grew up as an artsy child in the Chicago area. From drawing and painting to writing to playing piano, her creative pursuits were boundless. She has worked as a written and visual storyteller in support of nonprofits and major universities, elevating their communications and brand strategies. In 2019 Ro relocated to the Pacific Northwest and continues to be inspired by the surrounding landscapes of the region. Established in 2023, Rowan Shade Creative unites Ro's creativity and drive to make a positive impact through authentic visual storytelling and community connection.
