Pride In Health is a trans+ owned and led not-for-profit healthcare service supporting trans, non-binary, and intersex adults (18+) across the UK who have been left waiting, turned away, or made to fight for their own care. It provides access to specialized care through structured remote support from a clinical team, including formal diagnostic assessments, prescribing, blood test referrals and monitoring, and therapeutic services. Pride In Health also offers harm reduction support for individuals self-managing their care, recognizing that many people are still left without timely or appropriate access elsewhere. Founded by Emmy Beachcroft, Pride In Health exists because accessing care shouldn’t mean years of waiting, unaffordable costs, or having to justify your identity just to be taken seriously. As a trans woman, Emmy built Pride In Health from lived experience, after navigating those same barriers herself, and seeing how often our community is let down by the systems meant to support us. Emmy started Pride after losing access to her own healthcare and felt, with her experience working in trans healthcare and as a trans woman herself, something better could be built, both by and for our community.
