Counseling / Therapy
I believe in a world where you don’t need to shrink to fit in. My practice is rooted in fat liberation, queer-affirming care, and trauma-informed practices. I specialize in the whole family dynamic. I work with: Adults (parents and non-parents) who are ready to heal their own generational trauma and body shame. Parents & Caregivers who want to understand their teen’s pain without repeating the mistakes of their own upbringing. Teens who need a safe harbor to express their authentic selves without fear of judgment. My identity as a queer, first-generation daughter of immigrants isn’t just a bullet point in my bio—it’s the foundation of my empathy. I understand firsthand the unique pressures of navigating my culture, carrying unspoken family stories, and feeling the weight of "making it" while trying to heal from the inside out. I've seen how generational trauma and systemic oppression can lodge themselves not just in our minds, but in our very bodies. When I’m not in the therapist’s chair, you can find me watching anime, playing video games, and running after my two small children. These moments of joy and connection are essential, and I believe in nurturing them for myself as much as I encourage them for my clients.
