The Transgender Health and Wellness Center of Washington is a trans-led organization that advances health equity and justice for gender-expansive people across Washington State by eliminating barriers to self-determination, building gender-expansive community and capacity, and driving institutional and systemic change. We seek a future of mutual liberation where the infinite spectrum of gender is universally celebrated, especially for gender-expansive and historically marginalized individuals. Our work explicitly centers multiply marginalized Trans and Gender-Expansive (TGE) folks, specifically those who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, Disabled, neurodivergent, mad (reclaimed use!), unhoused, im/migrants, undocumented, socioeconomically marginalized, and/or who use languages other than spoken English. We offer a wide range of programming and services across Washington State, including: - Mental Health and Peer Services - Community Programs and Events - Systems and Institutional Change Initiatives - Practicum and Internship Opportunities - Advocacy, Education, and Community Awareness Building
