Honey & the Moon is a wife-and-wife wedding photography team specialising in queer and LGBTQ+ weddings. With over 10 years of experience and more than 450 weddings photographed, we’ve documented celebrations across Ireland, the UK and Europe, including destination weddings and elopements in some of Ireland’s most beautiful landscapes. Our work is rooted in storytelling, connection and inclusivity. We believe weddings should feel like the people at the heart of them, not a template or tradition that doesn’t fit. Our approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, focusing on honest moments, emotional atmosphere and the in-between interactions that matter just as much as the big ones. As queer photographers ourselves, representation and safety are central to how we work. We’re intentional about creating a calm, affirming experience where couples can show up fully as themselves, whether that looks like an intimate elopement on the Irish coast, a destination wedding surrounded by chosen family, or a joyful, all-out celebration. We photograph a wide range of weddings, from city halls and small gatherings to multi-day destination celebrations. At the heart of Honey & the Moon is a simple goal: to create photographs that feel true, hold meaning over time, and reflect the real lives and love stories of the couples we work with.
