Music, Music Production, Custom Gifts, Education
I’m an independent singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist rooted in the sound and spirit of 60s/70s soul and funk. I’m a lesbian artist, self-producing my own work from the ground up. Vocals are my first instrument, guitar my second, and I’m currently recording my next EP alongside writing and producing custom songs for weddings, personal ceremonies, retreats, and select corporate or community events that value intention, storytelling, and emotional resonance. Custom songs are a big part of my work — music created for real people and real moments, not templates. I love collaborating with people to create a sonic painting of a meaningful moment: a song for a sibling, a partner, chosen family, or an entire chapter of life. One recent custom song honored a group of best friends and the time they spent together in San Francisco. These projects are deeply personal and shaped through conversation, memory, and feeling. Alongside my own releases, I run a YouTube channel focused on recording and mixing tutorials, especially for women — who are still underrepresented in music production — particularly those later in life, as well as lesbian & queer creators who want clear, practical tools to keep creating and trusting their ears. My musical heart lives in classic soul traditions: call-and-response vocals, groove-driven rhythm sections, and lush string arrangements. I’m deeply influenced by the communal, human feel of vintage recordings and often work with modern music tech designed to support that analog-inspired sound. I also explore alternate tunings like 432 Hz, believing music has the power to soothe, ground, and connect us. At the core, I create music that feels lived-in, honest, and connective — and I care deeply about helping women and lesbian creators claim their voice, their craft, and their space.
