Adrouny Village Wellness (AVW) is a community-centered wellness hub in San Jose, CA, founded and led by Dr. Melissa Adrouny. AVW operates on a village model — the belief that no one should navigate pregnancy, new parenthood, and other major life transitions alone. We offer evidence-based support, trusted providers, and a deeply connected community for women and families across every stage: prenatal, postpartum, early parenting, and beyond. The PRIDE Family Village is AVW's dedicated initiative for LGBTQ+ families in the South Bay. We know that queer families often face a landscape of wellness spaces that weren't designed with them in mind. PRIDE Family Village exists to change that — offering inclusive programming, affirming providers, and a genuine community where LGBTQ+ parents and parents-to-be feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Our inaugural PRIDE Family Village Kick-Off takes place June 13, 2026, in San Jose — a free, family-friendly gathering bringing together local LGBTQ+-affirming wellness vendors, community resources, and families ready to connect. This is just the beginning. AVW's long-term vision includes recurring South Bay meetups and a dedicated LGBTQ+ family forum through the AVW mobile app, with events continuing through fall 2026 and beyond. Whether you're expecting, newly postpartum, deep in the beautiful chaos of early parenting, or an individual looking for community, there is a place for you here. It takes a village. Come find yours.
