Founded by Andrea Pichataro, Maternal Haven is a San Diego-based doula practice providing continuous, culturally attuned support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Blending evidence-informed care with a deeply nurturing approach, creating grounded, safe spaces for families as they transition into parenthood. Each experience is personalized, honoring the unique identity, values, and needs of every family served. Through its signature Haven Circle™ model, Maternal Haven offers seamless care from preparation through recovery ensuring no stage of the journey is navigated alone. Services include birth doula support, postpartum care, and overnight newborn care, with options for both insurance-covered and private-pay clients. The focus is simple: to restore, support, and empower families with presence, consistency, and compassionate care. With a background in newborn and infant care, Andrea brings both practical guidance and a calm, grounded presence to help families feel supported, informed, and confident in their journey. Andrea’s approach is non-medical, culturally responsive, and deeply relational, focused on building trust, creating safety, and supporting parents through one of life’s most transformative transitions.
