OnlineFloriography Studio NYC is a queer-owned, Brooklyn-based creative studio. We create original, bold artworks inspired by dreams, nature, and changing places. Our mediums include illustration, collage, linocut, painting, literature, and social practice. Our name comes from the long tradition of flowers as a coded language - floriography. From violets in ancient poetry to Oscar Wilde’s green carnation, and the reclaimed color lavender, flowers have offered a visual way to express what could not always be spoken openly. Art Prints & Custom Art Commissions
Art prints are available through my website or at in-person events listed on my Events page. They are also available wholesale for retailers. Reach out by email or through my “Partner” page to request a full catalog and pricing details. ($10–50) Custom art commissions are available for collage, painting, and illustration. Writing Coaching
I offer one-on-one coaching to nonfiction writers who are interested in writing a book proposal, getting unstuck in their creative practice, and/or building accountability for their writing. I also offer developmental editing services for nonfiction book proposals and manuscripts.This includes a full online course with resources and live sessions. Signed Copy of Generation Queer
Generation Queer (Lee & Low Books, 2025), is a nonfiction collection celebrating 30 young LGBTQIA+ leaders shaping our world through activism, art, and education. Written as a “curiosity guide,” the book is rich with resources, history, and inspiration for readers of all backgrounds. Publishers Weekly gave it a starred review, calling it “a necessary addition to the literary canon for anyone invested in facilitating a radically empowered future.” $22.95 plus shipping, available for purchase on my website.
Original Artwork
Original artworks in collage, painting, and illustration are available for purchase at art fairs and community festivals listed on my Events page, as well as through monthly limited collections. The next collection will be released in June.
Consulting Services (Lavender Education)
With over 10 years in nonprofit leadership, historic research, and public education, I offer a range of services to organizations, businesses, and individuals. This includes communications and research consulting (writing, social media, etc.), organizational development, and longer term projects mainly with organizations serving youth and/or LGBTQ+ communities. I also offer educational programming including author talks, collage workshops, and historic walking tours of NYC and Boston.
