In PersonFloriography Studio NYC is a queer-owned, Brooklyn-based creative studio. We create original, bold artworks inspired by dreams, nature, and changing places. Our mediums include illustration, collage, linocut, painting, literature, and social practice. We also host workshops with the message: YOU ARE AN ARTIST! Our art workshops are a practice in mindfulness and self-expression that invite you to try new mediums. Our name comes from the long tradition of flowers as a coded language - floriography. From violets in ancient poetry to Oscar Wilde’s green carnation, and the reclaimed color lavender, flowers have offered a visual way to express what could not always be spoken openly. I offer one-on-one coaching to nonfiction writers who are interested in writing a book proposal, getting unstuck in their creative practice, and/or building accountability for their writing. Signed Copy of Generation Queer
Generation Queer (Lee & Low Books, 2025), is a nonfiction collection celebrating 30 young LGBTQIA+ leaders shaping our world through activism, art, and education. Written as a “curiosity guide,” the book is rich with resources, history, and inspiration for readers of all backgrounds. Publishers Weekly gave it a starred review, calling it “a necessary addition to the literary canon for anyone invested in facilitating a radically empowered future.”

Handmade Bandana
This 100% cotton bandana design is handmade with cyanotype using original photography. "Flowers remind us to pause and be present with nature. For years, I've taken photos of flowers along walks that remind me to appreciate the natural world. This patch of daisies felt especially joyful and bright." - Julien Thomas, Artist Hand wash in cold water and air dry. Cyanotype can fade over time with sun and heat exposure. Each bandana is handmade, so there might be slight variations in printing.
