ALK Consulting offers LGBTQIA+ workshops, advising, and grant writing for organizations committed to authentic inclusion for staff, members, visitors, donors, and partners of all genders and sexualities. We prioritize compassionate curiosity to develop allies who value the LGBTQIA+ community. Ali Kane is a Queer nonprofit leader and lifelong learner committed to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility, with 10+ years of experience supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, especially cultural institutions. They advance health equity as Grants Management Specialist at Family Health Center of Worcester and serve as Treasurer of Love Your Labels and Trans Visibility of Central MA. Ali holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate from Bentley University. Outside work, Ali enjoys board games and supporting local drag with their partner and cats in Worcester, MA.

How to Be an LGBTQIA+ Ally in the Workplace
A half-day workshop empowering business leaders to be allies and create inclusive workplaces. Participants examine gender and sexuality, receive recommendations, and build allyship skills. Interactive learning includes lecture, breakout discussions, pre-session activity, and personal allyship plans. Virtual or in-person. Just One: Supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth
A 90-minute workshop empowering adults to understand LGBTQIA+ identities and create affirming spaces for children of all ages. Participants review gender theory and youth statistics to ground advice on discussing gender and sexuality and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. Virtual or in-person.
