Cope With Life is an Istanbul-based costume and stage design studio founded by a queer creative exploring the intersections of identity, rituals, and transformation through wearable art and spatial design. We work across theater, film, live music, and performance art collaborating with artists, musicians, and performers who seek more than aesthetics. Every piece we create carries intention: a narrative, a symbol, a feeling that amplifies the story being told on stage or screen. Our work spans mask-making for theatrical productions, stage design for live events and speaker sessions, concert costuming for musicians, and cross-cultural collaborations with international performance artists including a joint project with a migrant performance artist at Berliner Dom in Berlin. Based in Istanbul, we operate at the crossroads of tradition and transformation. We draw inspiration from rituals both ancient and personal and believe that what we wear and how we design space are powerful acts of identity and resistance. Cope With Life exists for those who create boldly, live authentically, and believe that art is never just decoration it is a way of coping, healing, and reimagining the world.
