SiteCare began as a side project in the early 2000s, I was working overnight shifts at CNN.com and building websites for clients in my spare time. Some of those very first clients are still with us today, more than two decades later. That's the fact I'm proudest of, because it says everything about how we work. What started in a spare bedroom as Southern Web Group grew into a real company with a real office. Then in 2018, we saw where work was heading and made a bold call: we went fully remote. That decision opened the door to global talent, gave our team genuine flexibility, and meant we didn't miss a beat when the pandemic reshaped how everyone works. Our growth has come from two engines. The first is doing great work that keeps clients around. The second is strategic acquisition. Over the past decade we've welcomed five companies into the SiteCare family: WP Site Care, Web Considerations, Firing Squad, Maintainn, and Smarter Searches. Each one brought new expertise, new teammates, and new capabilities that made us better at what we do. Today, SiteCare exists to unlock the full potential of every WordPress site we touch. At the center of our approach is our proprietary scoring system, a health check that identifies the root causes of the problems most website owners only see as symptoms. Slow load times, security gaps, plugin conflicts, SEO issues: we find what's actually causing them and fix it at the source. The result is thousands of WordPress sites around the world running at their absolute best, backed by a team that treats every client relationship like it might last twenty years.
