Brown Sugar Botanicals creates and vends boutique herbal CBD products - with a purpose. Across the world, people of the African diaspora are disproportionately affected by healthcare disparities and discrimination. In the modern world, we are too often embedded into Western diets and financial demands that ultimately do not center or respect our true wealth - our bodies. Brown Sugar Botanicals' herbal CBD products approach holistic wellness with these realities in mind, encouraging us all to move in harmony with our bodies' highest self. To that end, our mission is "Diasporic Healing for Modern Lifestyles." As a Black, Trans-founded and operated company, our vision prioritizes supply chain inclusivity as our core value. All of our products feature ingredients grown in Black, Brown, Trans and/or Queer-run farms and gardens. We envision a world where sustainable economic sovereignty for all marginalized people is a reality. We aim to eventually have all aspects of our supply chain needs, from product ingredient to packaging, met by Black, Brown, Queer and/or Trans suppliers. As Black folks, we understand that mutual aid is not a new phenomenon, but an understanding of communal thriving. As a social enterprise, we participate in and uplift markets coordinated for and by fellow Black and Brown entrepreneurs.
