kreisdesigns creates pillows that speak® — original textile designs inspired by the experiences that shape our lives. Some experiences change us. Some challenge us. Some remind us who we are. I translate those moments into abstract designs that give form to feelings and experiences that aren’t always easy to put into words. Each pillow represents a different human journey — healing, resilience, love, identity, struggle, growth and everything in between. The designs are intentionally abstract, allowing each person to see something of their own story in them. Two people can look at the same pillow and connect with it for completely different reasons. For me, these aren’t simply decorative pillows. They’re small pieces of art that can represent something you’ve lived through, someone you love, or a part of yourself you want to honor. Because sometimes the things we surround ourselves with can say something about who we are, where we’ve been, and what we’ve carried with us.
