At Global Travel Moments, we believe travel is for everyone – bold, authentic, and unapologetically inclusive. For nearly three decades, we’ve been exploring the world and curating travel that celebrates individuality, immerses you in wonder, and gifts you with stories. From vibrant urban escapes to serene natural retreats, we design joyful experiences and foster meaningful connections. As part of the LGBTQIA+ community and proud members of IGLTA, we specialise in crafting journeys for queer travellers and allies, ensuring every moment is indulgent, memorable, and empowering. With insightful expertise in inclusive travel and our commitment to excellence, we ensure every aspect of your experience is seamless and memorable. I’m Duncan Greenfield-Turk, and I’ve spent my life crafting extraordinary journeys that leave lasting impressions. Born in South Africa, my roots are steeped in diversity and adventure, and this inspires my approach to luxury travel design. With years of expertise, a deep global network, and an unwavering passion for detail, I founded Global Travel Moments and curate experiences that go far beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s a hidden retreat, a cultural immersion, or a journey celebrating your individuality, our goal is to deliver moments you’ll treasure forever. To us, travel isn’t about destinations – it’s about stories and connections and creating moments that matter for memories that last a lifetime.

The Hotel Desk

The Hotel Desk

The Hotel Desk is our online booking platform for hotels and resorts worldwide. It gives travellers the rates, upgrades, and on-property perks normally reserved for clients of a private travel advisor: breakfast included, a property credit on arrival, a room upgrade where availability allows, early check-in or late check-out, and the occasional welcome amenity that comes from being on the right list. The price is the one you'd see on the hotel's own site. The extras are quietly added on. Useful for a weekend break, a city stopover, or the centrepiece of a longer trip we're already designing.

Bespoke Itinerary Design

Bespoke Itinerary Design

Every Global Travel Moments itinerary is built from a blank page. We design trips around the people travelling, not the destinations on a map. That means a different shape for a milestone anniversary in Italy than for a multigenerational family in Botswana, and a different rhythm again for a solo writer's month in Japan. Whether the brief is a single grand tour, a quiet week of recovery, or a private celebration that needs to land perfectly, our team produces a fully considered plan: route, accommodation, transport (including private aviation where it's the right call), experiences, and the small touches that make a trip feel inevitable rather than arranged.

Ocean & River Cruise + Safari

Ocean & River Cruise + Safari

A cruise is only as good as its land. We design ocean and river journeys that begin before the gangway and continue after it: a few days in Reykjavík before a Greenland expedition, a Mekong cruise bookended by Luang Prabang and Ho Chi Minh City, and a Mediterranean voyage that ends with a private villa in the Aeolians. We also match traveller to vessel with care, from small expedition cruisers to river barges to the quieter end of the luxury fleet, and arrange everything in between. Safari is the kind of travel that rewards careful design. We plan multi-camp itineraries across southern and East Africa, choosing lodges that match the traveller's pace and the season's rhythm: Botswana's water and woodland, Kenya's open plains, and Zambia's walking country. Every itinerary includes the connecting parts that often get forgotten: a night in Cape Town to recover from the long-haul flight, transfers by light aircraft between camps, and a beach extension in Zanzibar to close out the trip.

Food & Wine

Food & Wine

For travellers who plan their day around the next meal, we design itineraries that put food and wine at the centre: a harvest in Piedmont, sake breweries in Niigata, an Andalusian week of olive oil and sherry, and a private table at a restaurant that doesn't usually take bookings. We arrange visits with growers, makers, and chefs, working with people who know the producers personally rather than ticking off a regional list. Trips can be paced as a deep dive into a single appellation or built as a route across several, with accommodation chosen as carefully as the dinners and the right wine on the table at every stop.

Wellness, Immersion & Culture

Wellness, Immersion & Culture

Some trips are about doing less, or about doing one thing well. We design itineraries for travellers who want to come home rested, fluent, or changed: a month at a Kyoto ryokan with a calligraphy teacher, a week of Ayurveda in Kerala, a writing retreat in the Highlands, or a residency-style stay in a Mexican town learning to cook from a single household. Wellness, language, art, faith, craft. The things that take time. We design these journeys with depth rather than coverage in mind and plan around the parts that actually matter: the right teacher, the right household, and the right room to come back to at the end of the day.

Action & Adventure + Private Aviation & Travel

Action & Adventure + Private Aviation & Travel

1. Action & Adventure: For travellers who measure a trip in summits, sea miles, or dive logs, we plan adventure travel that is serious about the activity and comfortable around it. Liveaboard diving in Raja Ampat, a Patagonian trekking week with the right guide, ski touring in the Lyngen Alps, a Greenland sailing expedition. We choose the operators who care about safety as much as scenery, build in recovery days where they belong, and design the rest of the trip to match. 2. Private Aviation & Travel: For travellers who value time, privacy, or simply prefer to skip the queue, we arrange private aviation as part of a wider itinerary or as a standalone service. Light jets for European hops, long-range cabins for transcontinental routes, and helicopter transfers into islands that scheduled flights won’t reach. We work with established operators on every continent and handle aircraft selection, ground handling, customs, and the connection between the flight and the rest of the journey.
