Social Media Strategist

About this role

This role will be responsible for developing compelling platform-native content, driving measurable growth, and ensuring our message breaks through the noise. You are a self-starting strategist and a creator: someone who understands how organic and paid ecosystems inform each other, can write copy that stops a scroll, knows why something lands on TikTok but not on X, and creates content that moves people to act. This person should be comfortable appearing on camera when needed, following and adapting complex narratives to relevant trends, and understanding the numbers that inform their strategy. Remote in the U.S. Animal Equality's mission is to protect animals. They work with society, governments, and companies so that they can achieve their vision: a world in which all animals are protected and respected.
